What You'll Do
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities and perform buy-side financial due diligence.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models.
- Prepare investment memorandums and executive presentations.
- Support transaction execution from initial evaluation through closing.
- Analyze company financial statements, operating performance, and business risks.
- Partner with senior leadership on investment strategy and portfolio initiatives.
- Assist portfolio companies with financial analysis, corporate finance, accounting, insurance, and other strategic projects as needed.
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive research.
- Work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in buy-side mergers & acquisitions, private equity, family office investing, corporate development, or investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience performing financial due diligence.
- Ability to develop investment recommendations supported by sound financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where versatility is valued.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or similar credentials are a plus.
- Base salary approximately $125,000-$175,000 , depending upon experience (exceptional candidates may be considered above this range).
- Performance bonus opportunity of approximately $50,000.
- Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
