Our client is an established, diversified company with operations across the Southeast. They are seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead all financial and accounting operations, reporting directly to the President.

- Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
- Oversee month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and GAAP financial statements
- Establish and enhance accounting policies and internal controls
- Monitor cash flow, AR/AP, and key financial metrics
- Coordinate with external auditors on annual audits, tax filings, and compliance
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team
- Partner with leadership on real estate transaction analysis and financial insights
- Leverage and enhance Yardi to streamline reporting and operations
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Real estate experience (investment, development, or property management) preferred
- Multi-entity consolidation experience, including intercompany eliminations, preferred
- Proven ability to lead finance teams and collaborate across departments
