About The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator I to join a growing manufacturing organization in Germantown, TN. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys coordinating production activities, managing priorities, and supporting operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules across multiple product lines, ensuring on-time delivery while optimizing shop capacity and resources. You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, procurement, customer service, and other key stakeholders to support business objectives and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, and business priorities.
• Analyze lead times, work center capacities, and shop load data to support effective scheduling decisions.
• Balance workloads across departments to maximize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, engineering, and customer service teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Monitor production progress and expedite critical orders when necessary.
• Communicate potential delays, risks, and capacity constraints to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and production data within ERP systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and throughput.
• Generate reports and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or Technical School certification.
• One or more years of related work experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, production, or a related industry.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, and decimals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  
  

Preferred

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence principles.
• Experience interpreting technical documentation, architectural drawings, or layout drawings.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar manufacturing software.
• Basic project management skills including communication, leadership, risk management, negotiation, and team coordination.
