With the support of its financial sponsor CBRE Investment Management, Gateway plans to reach 500,000 homes and businesses with its service over the next several years. Gateway provides faster, more reliable internet with a simple pricing model and industry-leading customer service.

Expected Outcomes and Requirements: 

Gateway Fiber is hiring a Manager, Strategic Finance, to enhance, expand, and solidify Gateway’s brand across our growing customer base and support our operational goals. The Manager, Strategic Finance, will be a critical business partner responsible for shaping financial strategy, strengthening forecasting, and driving insight-based decision-making as the company continues rapid expansion.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting

• Lead annual budgets, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts aligned with Gateway Fiber’s mission and expansion goals.
• Build financial models evaluating market expansion, capital deployment, and network build strategies including last-mile and middle-mile planning.
• Support executive leadership with scenario modeling tied to growth, acquisitions, and brand-integration milestones.

Financial Analysis & Insights

• Conduct deep analyses on subscriber metrics, revenue performance, network construction costs, and operational drivers.
• Develop insights that optimize deployment sequencing, capital allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Produce executive-level presentations summarizing results, risks, opportunities, and growth performance.

Business Partnership

• Collaborate with leaders in Operations, Network Deployment, Customer Experience, Sales, and Marketing.
• Support financial integration of acquired entities by harmonizing KPIs, tracking synergies, and aligning financial structures.
• Provide financial guidance on pricing, product offerings, and new-market launch strategies.

Performance Management

• Build dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility across construction, operating efficiency, and customer acquisition.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities related to expansion, capital investment, and go-to-market initiatives.

Operational Excellence

• Improve financial processes, accuracy, and data integrity as the organization scales.
• Standard reporting across all markets, including those from acquired providers.
• Ensure strong internal controls and alignment between finance, operations, and strategy.

What you’ll bring to the table: 

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate strategy, consulting, or investment banking.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross functional teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred

• MBA, CFA, or similar advanced credentials.
• Background in telecommunications, broadband, utilities, or infrastructure intensive sectors.
• Familiarity with financial systems used in scaling companies.
• Experience with M&A modeling, integration support, or synergy analysis.
