At Gateway Fiber, we connect people to Internet and Phone service in-town and rural with fixed wireless and fiber technologies. Gateway Fiber is looking for individuals with excellent customer service skills paired with technical ability. As a Field Technician you will play a vital role in the continued stability and growth of our organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dispatch from your home daily and work in your geographical area.
- Perform installation and service of wireless internet at customer locations.
- Maintain inventory of necessary materials and tools for company vehicles.
- Recognize, practice, and ensure safety rules and procedures.
- Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
- Hand out marketing material, and willingly promote Gateway
- Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills
- Possess basic computer skills and be willing to learn new technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment while managing multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day.
- Must demonstrate accountability in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Must be professional in dress, speech, and manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Network skills are a plus, but not required, Gateway will train the right candidate.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Possess basic computer skills
- Must live in the area you will be servicing/assigned to
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
