Expected Outcomes and Requirements:
The Engineering Project Manager will play a key role in managing engineering programs and supporting the Construction Manager with program coordination and execution. This includes design work, field engineering, permitting coordination, construction documentation reviews, and cross-functional project support.
This role is critical as Gateway Fiber focuses on driving operational efficiency, increasing engineering output, maintaining quality, and delivering planned growth objectives. The Engineering Manager will contribute to the success of Gateway’s growth objectives in the following ways:
- Assist with tracking project workflows through design, field engineering, permitting, and construction documentation.
- Contribute to projects aimed at increasing efficiency, production, and quality across engin Conduct regular quality checks with Construction and Engineering leadership.
- Review and verify compliance with engineering standards, design requirements, and project expectations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding engineering workflows, tools, and standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, GIS, Permitting, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables are aligned with project objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.

The successful candidate will bring the following to the table:
- Ability to coordinate various projects, project status between internal and external departments, as well as customers and stakeholders within communities & governments
- Understanding of engineering processes related to fiber network builds.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams while supporting large-scale initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to summarize updates, risks, and progress.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with engineering design tools (CrescentLink preferred).
- Experience with program/project management responsibilities.
- Engineering experience or PMP certification is a plus.
