What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator position at Gateway Counseling Center, Inc.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sets schedules for maintenance of vehicles including any and all recalls from the manufacturer.
- Maintains record of maintenance and other vehicle related services including routine cleaning.
- Ensures that the vehicles are properly inspected and registered.
- Ensures maintenance records for fleet are accurate and up to date.
-Analyzes maintenance costs and provides recommendations on fleet utilization and replacement.
- Tracks fleet usage and maintains accurate inventory of fleet related equipment including but not limited to any required safety equipment.
- Respond to all vehicle performance issues raised by staff members.
- Submits recommendations for development of and compliance with maintenance-related policies, procedures, and programs.
- Submits recommendations for maintenance work.
- Researches for price quotes and recommends most efficient and cost effective bids as it relates to conducting maintenance work and other vehicle related services.
- Conducts continuous analyses of vehicle performance, including but not limited to physical conditions.
- Ensures vehicles are properly maintained and road worthy in line with the vehicle safety protocol.
- Directs operation and maintenance of vehicles; reviews procedures; provides guidance to resolve technical and/or mechanical problems; analyzes costs and recommends cost control measures; and develops plans, policies, and budgets.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical knowledge.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks for extended periods.
Schedule: Tuesdays-Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturdays 8am to 4pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
