What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deck Hand position at Gateway Clipper Inc?
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Meet all physical requirements that are required including the ability to lift more than 25 lbs and pass a USCG Approved Drug Test
· Ensure the safety and security of all passengers on vessel and dock
· Follow directives from the Captain and Sr. Deckhand
· Provide excellent customer service by taking care of all customers in a timely, courteous, efficient and individualized manner
· Ensure that the vessel is properly set in preparation of cruise.
· Certify that the vessel is always clean and that all cleanliness procedures are completed before, during and after all cruises.
· Ability to complete vessel maintenance projects including but not limited to painting interior and exterior of vessel, scrubbing carpets, polishing woodwork and more
· Uphold compliance with all company policies and procedures
· Communicate with all levels of staff
· Maintain a well-kept appearance in accordance with company standards
· Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
