About the Role
We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on Groundskeeper to keep our Broken Arrow campus clean, safe, and “tour ready” every day. In this vital role, you’ll help maintain the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces — from mowing and mulching to trimming trees and keeping sidewalks clear and hazard-free.

What You’ll Do
- Mow, trim, edge, rake, and water lawns and outdoor areas
- Maintain sidewalks, courtyards, and entrances to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Clear debris, snow, and ice from walkways
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and small machinery
- Assist with power washing, exterior painting, and minor outdoor repairs
- Supervise and encourage program participants (“Friends”) working on grounds projects
- Collaborate with the Job Coach to create a safe and positive outdoor work environment
- Ensure all work areas meet safety standards and report any hazards
- Keep an inventory of tools and supplies
- Help prepare outdoor spaces for special events and campus functions

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
1 year experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or similar (preferred)
Ability to safely operate mowers, blowers, trimmers, and related tools
Strong attention to detail and sense of pride in quality work
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or with a team

Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection) required
- Visual and hearing ability to operate tools and ensure safety
