Job Description:
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to work on-site in Mahanoy
City, PA. Looking for someone with strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
This position offers flexibility in scheduling, and competitive benefits
package. The candidate will work closely with the CFO.
Responsibilities:
· Will have a
primary focus on forecasting, data management, and spearheading new projects
that will enhance corporate value and advance the reporting capabilities and
data used in making decisions.
· Make
recommendations and perform new system implementations as needed
· Assist with
monthly reporting
· Prepare and review
financial reports
Requirements
Requirements:
· BA/BS degree in accounting or finance
· 5 years’ experience with financial analyses or
management accounting in a mining, construction or heavy equipment environment
· Experience with budgeting and forecasting and
financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow
statement, primarily in Excel
Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results
· Accounting and general ledger experience, monthly
close process
· Cost analysis/Cost Accounting knowledge good to
have
· Experience with Sage accounting software—other
Accounting software systems considered
· DataRails or similar excel centric data base
system
· Great communication skills and able to work
independently
