Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Arrive to work on time consistently.
2. Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisps, clean, and in good repair.
3. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style, management has final approval.
4. Attend all required training and safety courses along with office and departmental meetings.
5. Report any safety hazards, follow up that the hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
6. Use proper portion control techniques, therefore assisting in food cost containment.
7. Be proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
8. Keep work area clean and use set sanitation standards.
9. Rotate breads and deserts, informing Chef or Executive Chef of any spoilage.
10. Prepare breads and pastries for lunch and dinner meals.
11. Store and label all products properly.
12. Responsible for knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets and proper labeling issues.
13. Check out with Souch Chef or Executive Chef before leaving for the day.
14. Perform other jobs that will assist in an efficient and top quality running kitchen as assigned by the Pastry Chef or Executive Chef.
