We are seeking an experienced competent, conscientious, service-oriented Front Office Specialist with strong character to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in a fast-paced outpatient environment, comfortable with high volume patient loads, and able to integrate quickly with training and work under the direction of the division practice manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient check-in and check-out.
- Insurance verification.
- Greet patients in courteous manner.
- Collect money owed and end of day balance.
- Answer phones.
- Patient registration of new patients.
- Strong proficiency with eClinicalWorks (ECW)
- Managing the fax inbox, including timely review, routing, and documentation
- Scheduling patient appointments, follow-ups, and coordinating provider workflows.
Qualifications
- Previous specialty office care experience is required
- Previous GI experience helpful
- Reliable attendance is essential
- Ability to float to different locations as needed
- Immediate availability preferred
