Gastops USA is looking to fill an existing vacancy for a Field Service Technician. This role will conduct field and in house repairs, as well as train customers on use of equipment. This position in located in Huntsville, Alabama with some customer site visits.
The primary focus is sensors and test instrumentation for DPHM (Diagnostics, Prognostics, Health Management) solutions for rotary and fixed wing aircraft along with Engineering Services and MRO in areas including aircraft component monitoring.

Who You Are:
- Experience in analyzing and evaluating products and related performance, comprehending, analyzing complete problems, and developing solutions
- Experience conducting product briefings effectively with customer
- Experience working with established processes and procedures
- Ability to train, assign, and check work for other technicians
- Experience working with technical teams to accomplish time critical tasks/events
- Experience with training development and training execution
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze, evaluate, and test products and their related performance
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimal time
- Install upgrades ensuring synchronizing engineering field changes
- Maintain effective customer communications and relations
- Provide on-site and virtual training of customer personnel
- The ability to maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 year’s additional education in electronics repair and/or related experience.
- Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and affect repair
- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15% of the time
