What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Applications Engineer- Field & Systems Support position at GASBARRE?
We’re continuing to build momentum across Gasbarre — particularly in magnet technologies, advanced automation, and our expanding White-Brook product capabilities — and we’re adding key engineering roles to support that growth.
Gasbarre is hiring an Electrical Applications Engineer – Field & Systems Support based in DuBois and Brookville, PA.
This is a highly hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys being close to the equipment and working directly with customers. The focus is controls programming, systems debug, automation integration, and field troubleshooting on our industrial press and specialized equipment — including projects tied to our emerging magnet technologies initiatives and the White-Brook platform.
About 50% of the role is in-the-field, partnering with customers during startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting — helping ensure reliable performance in real-world manufacturing environments.
We’re looking for someone with experience in:
🔹 PLC/HMI programming and controls troubleshooting
🔹 Siemens / Mitsubishi / Rockwell / Beckoff automation platforms
🔹 Motion control & industrial networking
🔹 A problem-solving, field-service mindset
Our team is working on exciting programs in areas like rare-earth magnet production, automation-driven press systems & cells, and next-generation equipment modernization — and this role will play a direct part in that work.
At Gasbarre, our engineers don’t just design systems… they help build the future of U.S. manufacturing alongside our customers.
If you or someone you know would be a great fit, I’d love to connect — or you can apply through our careers page.
Proud of the team we’re building, the partnerships we’re strengthening, and the opportunities ahead.
