What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Machine Operator position at Garza Labor?
We are looking for dependable individuals to join our production team. Employees will be cross-trained on different production roles and equipment. Employees will have the opportunity to build skills and gain experience with different types of equipment.
Pay: $16–$21/hour (based on experience)
Hours: 40–46 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery
- Assist with material handling and quality control
- Follow safety and production guidelines
- Learn and perform multiple production roles through cross-training
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality requirements
Equipment includes: Flexo-folder gluer machines, rotary die cutters, conveyor systems, material handling tools, and quality control equipment.
Requirements:
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to learn and operate different types of equipment in a production environment
- Ability to work 40–46 hours per week
- Pass drug test prior to hire
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but training may be provided
