What You Bring
Required:
- 2 years in event production, planning, project management, or community engagement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities
- Cultural competency and genuine passion for working with youth and families
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced, shared environment
Preferred:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Planning, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
- Experience with SharePoint or event management software
- Background in nonprofit or youth-serving organizations
- Knowledge of Chicago's South Side communities
