We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Compare received items with purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Record shipment information in inventory or warehouse systems
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products
- Organize merchandise in assigned storage locations
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors
- Keep shipping and receiving areas clean and organized
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience is preferred
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to read shipping documents, labels, and purchase orders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with changing temperatures
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after proper training
Pay: $23.80 - $28.70 per hour
