Duties

• Safely transport food and beverages from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Assist with food preparation and plating when needed, supporting kitchen staff in maintaining efficiency
• Clear and buss tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas
• Support servers by delivering orders quickly and efficiently, enhancing guest satisfaction
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or boxes while practicing safe lifting techniques
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow
• Maintain food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly, ensuring hygiene at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and safe lifting practices is highly valued
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently
• Experience with banquet service, bussing, or catering is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to provide excellent guest services
• Prior kitchen or culinary experience, hotel experience, or hospitality background will support success in this role
