Yard/Forklift Driver/Maintenance

Keep it Clean. Maintain the appearance and assist with the organization of the Store and equipment display.

Reporting Relationships: You report directly to the Service Manager and the General Manager. You have a functional relationship with the Parts Manager, Sales Staff, and Office personnel.

Responsibility: As Yard/Maintenance you are responsible to keep the store looking good and the equipment clean and arranged. You are also in charge of monitoring equipment coming and going.

Principal Duties: The principle duties of the Yard/Maintenance position consist of, but are not limited to the following:

1. Maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to work hard.
2. Safety: Safely loading and unloading trucks while checking for accuracy and damage.
3. Checking equipment in and out. Verifying serial numbers, etc.
4. Keeping the equipment clean and arranged in an appealing display.
5. Keeping the property maintained. Weeds sprayed and removed. Clutter and trash removed, etc.
6. Stock and maintain clean restrooms.
7. Stock and maintain clean breakroom.
8. Empty trash inside/outside – breakdown cardboard daily.
9. Maintain drinking and water coolers.
10. Sweep and mop floors weekly.
11. Clean steam rack weekly.
12. Clean windows monthly.
13. On occasion, you may need to run an errand or make a delivery (at the discretion of management).
14. All other duties as assigned by various managers.

Standards and Measurement of Performance: You will meet or exceed your expectations when the following occurs:

1. Your attendance is punctual and you show up ready to go to work with a good attitude.
2. Damaged goods and shortages are identified upon delivery and noted on the BOL.
3. Equipment transfers are processed without errors. The paperwork is turned in.
4. The equipment inventory is neatly aligned and clean. The display area is kept full.
5. The property always looks good. The lot is swept and there is no trash or clutter about.
6. Your willingly fill-in to help in other areas when the need arises.
7. Fulfilling the described responsibilities, duties, and Company policies and procedures.

COMPENSATION – FLSA Standard is Nonexempt

• Compensation range is based on basic skill sets
• Hourly Wage Scale: DOE
