eavy Equipment Operator: Level 2 M
- ust be able to operate at a High Production speed on at least one of the following machines: Bulldozer (up to D9), Excavator (up to CAT 349), Motor Grader (up to CAT 140M). Any Finishing experience is welcome. C
- reate level surfaces, grade slopes to specifications, remove material and thoroughly fill voids using plans or our survey team for guidance. M
- aintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance tasks and/or making minor repairs as required. I
- nspects equipment prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition. W
- ork with the Superintendent or Foreman to help ensure that work is flowing smoothly throughout the day. H
- elp the Superintendents and Foreman identify areas needing improvement in our production processes. P
- erform general labor as needed. M
- entor and teach colleagues with less experience A
- ttend trainings and safety meetings S
- tore and clean machinery at its designated location and note any deficiencies R
EQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: A
- ble to read drawings, plans and blueprints F
- amiliar with staking and checking grade P
- ossesses strong math and analytical skills D
- etail-oriented with the ability to process information quickly and accurately D
- ependable and able to work independently with little supervision as well as with a team of individuals M
- ust know the consistency of material and understand compaction techniques

- bility to work around loud noises and can tolerate being exposed to odors, gasses, dust, etc. M
- ust be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, and in excavated areas.
