Dispatcher (Content Specialist 3)
Garrett Transit Service (GTS) is accepting applications for a Full-Time Dispatcher (Content Specialist 3).
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating transportation activities, supporting drivers, and ensuring safe and efficient service delivery to clients and community programs.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent and:
- Excellent knowledge of the Garrett County road system and surrounding area
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work diplomatically and professionally with diverse clients
- Proficient computer skills
- Willingness to complete Basic First Aid and CPR training
Experience in the transportation field is preferred but not required.
Safety & Background Requirements:
This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful applicants must:
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in random drug and alcohol testing during employment
- Pass a criminal background check
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position with a wage range of $15.85 – $18.16 per hour, based on experience.
Full-time employees receive:
