The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the execution of Quality Control Programs for Garney Construction projects.
What You Will Be Doing
- The Construction QC Inspector is responsible for conducting jobsite inspections and materials testing
- Ensure various constructed components conform to project drawings, specifications, and material standards
- Partake in weekly Quality Control meetings
- Perform/supervise quality inspections as needed by the project or Project Manager
- Identify, document, and report discrepancies, defects, or non-conformance issues to the project management team
- Provide effective and efficient communication with project personnel
- Promote Garney’s safety programs and procedures to promote a safe working environment
- Follow QA/QC standard practices
- Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
- Must be willing to travel
- 5 years relevant construction inspection, quality assurance, and quality control experience in industrial construction trades
- Prefer B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management, or equivalent experience in field operations as an inspector.
- OSHA 30-hour certifications
- Salary: $70,000-$80,000
