ABusiness Development Coordinator position is available at Garney. In this position, you willsupport our national business development initiatives and activities. The successful candidate will have an understanding of business development/sales activities and prior conference and event planning experience. Some travel required.
- Coordinates company involvement with national trade conferences including attendee event registration, hotel reservations, exhibitor booth registration, sponsorship,including travel to conferences
- Plans, organizes and oversees client events including strategy, theme, venue, catering, etc
- Maintains registration of company's national trade organization memberships
- Manages company's promotional items including research / selection of items, soliciting pricing and managing inventory
- 5 years of professional experience in similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong work and personal ethics, self-motivated and results driven
