Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and proper manual handling techniques to move furniture or large items safely
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by using appropriate cleaning detergents and disinfectants
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards
• Keep detailed records of cleaning activities and supplies used for accountability and inventory management
• Ensure outdoor areas are tidy and well-maintained when required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and janitorial procedures
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, detergents, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks confidently
• Excellent customer service skills with clear client communication abilities
• Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus
• Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience is advantageous but not required
• A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
