Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate reservation records, cancellations, and modifications while coordinating with housekeeping and other departments
- Answer incoming calls promptly using proper phone etiquette and direct calls to appropriate staff or departments
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial records
- Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance their stay
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management and hotel operations
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in front desk operations within a resort or hotel environment
