PART-TIME HELP WANTED! Garner by IHG Brookings, SD is looking for Front Desk/Guest Service Representatives to join our team starting this summer. We currently have part-time positions available. Must be available weekends and some holidays. This shift is rotating and applicants are required to be available Friday and Saturdays at least 2-3 weekends a month. Shift hours will rotate between 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am. This is a great position for college students!
Prefer applicants that can work shifts in a rotating schedule with availability on weekdays, weekends and some holidays. Guest service agent positions will make reservations, check guests in/out of the hotel, answer phones, resolve guests issues, and complete necessary paperwork during the shift.
Key job requirements include:
-Handle guest needs and requests in an expedient and professional manner.
-Effectively communicate all shift information to management and the following shifts.
-Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all guests, staff, and property.
-Must be a team player and follow all company policies and procedures.
-Ensure Uniform and Personal appearance are clean and professional
Physical job requirements include:
-Standing for extended periods of time (may be up to 8 hours)
-Lift up to 50 lbs.
-Be able to bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
-Will be asked to help in laundry whenever needed during the shift.
-Scoop or shovel walkways in winter.
-Clean and take out trash in public areas.
