Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician based in Williamsport, PA. The Behavioral Health Technician will support individuals dealing with mental health and behavioral challenges by assisting with treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and providing hands-on guidance. Responsibilities include fostering client progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with mental health professionals to implement individualized support strategies. Strong communication with clients, families, and team members is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, families, and mental health professionals.
- Experience or understanding of the administrative aspects such as Escrow and Title Insurance processes is beneficial.
- Ability to deliver Training effectively and contribute to client education and support programs.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to offer emotional support in various circumstances.
- A background in behavioral health, psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or coursework in mental health or behavioral studies is a plus.
- Driver's License - reliable transportation
- Clearances: FBI Fingerprints, Background check, Mandated Reporter, and Child Abuse clearance
- Minimal travel between centers
