Desktop Support Engineer
- Onsite contract position in Holly Ridge, Louisiana.
- 2nd shift Monday-Friday 4pm-12am (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm for the first 3 months)
- Pay: $33-38/hr.
Requirements:
- Required Qualifications – (those in bold are absolute must haves)
- 8-10 years of hands‑on support with relevant experience with in Fast paced environments
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and security tools
- maintain printers and multifunction devices.
- onsite support for desktops/laptops, peripherals, hardware replacements, and office IT equipment.
- Support video conferencing systems
- troubleshooting on switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Rack/stack network equipment, patch cables
- Record keeping of distributed assets
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft 365 apps
- VPN Technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi
- Audio/Video Systems
- Active Directory, Entra ID, Intone, MDM
- Working in a ticketing system
- Preferred Qualifications
- , Microsoft, or ITIL
- ServiceNow, Citrix, Bomgar, asset management tools, disk encryption, Citrix Workspace, imaging tools (ManageEngine Endpoint Central), Cisco AMP/Umbrella, CrowdStrike Falcon.
