Qualifications
Position: Proposal Assistant - Marketing
Location: Rocky Hill, CT
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $29 - $36/hour
Responsibilites:- Preparing Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and proposal responses to RFPs/RFQs
- Gathering and formatting project content from internal teams and subconsultants
- Proofreading and editing marketing and business development materials
- Coordinating digital and printed proposal production
- Designing layout and visual elements using Adobe InDesign
- Maintaining project resumes, project sheets, and other marketing collateral
- Supporting PowerPoint presentations and social media posts
- Updating client and project databases
- Assisting with market research and CRM management
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or Business
- 0–5 years of relevant experience in the A/E/C industry
- Willingness to learn SOQ/proposal production and support marketing processes
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Adobe Creative Cloud skills (especially InDesign)
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CTDOT and NYSDOT proposal formats
- Familiarity with Deltek CRM or similar platforms
