Proposal Specialist

AI Engineers, Inc. (AIE) is looking for an experienced Proposal Specialist to join our team, supporting projects throughout the company. This is an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, highly-organized Proposal Specialist to join our experienced team of marketing specialists. The ideal candidate should possess a “can-do” attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work independently as well as with a team in a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative consulting firm. Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.
• 5 years of prior experience with developing proposals in the architecture, engineering, construction or related field.
• Experience in desktop publishing including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with preparing responses to RFPs and RFQs, especially state agencies such as CTDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYCSCA, NYCDDC, etc. is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong coordination skills with Project Managers, Technical Leaders as well as outside team members (Prime Consultants, subconsultants, Contractors, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the company’s efforts in projecting quality, consistency, and innovation through all marketing activities across the company.
• Tracking and preparation of responses to RFPs and RFQs including reviewing and editing of materials for timely submissions.
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations.
• Maintenance and updates for marketing collateral including project sheets, resumes, brochures, and newsletters.
• Updating client and project databases in CRM environment.
• Attending client meetings, industry events, etc. as needed.
• Assist with Social Media updates and maintenance as needed.

Skills & Abilities:

• A self-starter with the ability to work with project teams and manage multiple and concurrent projects/assignments
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage the assignments related to a diversity of related construction or engineering projects.
• Data driven and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Considerable knowledge of Architecture, Engineering, Construction bid process and procedures.
• Ability to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely manner.
