Job Title: English Language Learner Paraprofessional Job Family: ClassifiedDepartment: Grand Valley Middle SchoolFLSA Status: Non-Exempt Pay Range: Paraprofessional Salary Schedule: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour Reports to: Building PrincipalJob ID#: 1537Job Description: This position requires a solid understanding and ability to demonstrate reading, writing, and math skillsSupport students within the ELL Program with academicsThe ability to take advice regarding ways of helping students meet his/her IEP goals is essential to this position.This position requires a caring, focused, and responsible disposition while working closely with a small number of Severe Needs students.Day-to-day duties will include small-group teaching, 1-on-1 pull-out and in-class support as it pertains to specific student needs. Work with ELL teacher to appropriately modify assignments as needed. Assisting students with testing accommodations during classroom, district, state, and national assessments.
