What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Classroom Tutor (Classroom Aide) position at Gardner Public Schools?
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Massachusetts Teacher Licensure Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Required
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
JOB GOAL: To provide academic support to elementary school students.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with individual students or small groups of students to provide interventions and supports in reading, writing, math, speaking and listening.
- Collaborates with classroom teachers to plan and implement lessons and data informed supports and interventions;
- Assist students with group and individual academic work.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by teachers and/or the building administration.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Contract.
