What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist - Small Law Office position at Gardner Law Office?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
Must be able to consistently handle bill collection with clients
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to adapt to various computer management software programs
- Proficient in file management and organization
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of documents
- Knowledge of office procedures and equipment
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in a law office or similar experience important
- Familiarity with order entry systems is an asset
Attention to Detail required; Experience with Amicus and/or PC Law a plus.
