Glenbrook Cabinetry, Gardner / Fox’s Custom Cabinetry Line, is growing and looking for a motivated, energetic, and experienced Kitchen and Bath Designer to help service our customer base and help grow the Glenbrook division. Well-rounded applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen / residential cabinetry design, ideally using 20 / 20 software. Typical projects include Kitchens, Bathrooms, Libraries, Wet Bars, Closets, Mudrooms and more! If you have an eye for detail and executing on your designs, this is a great opportunity to grow with us.
Essential Role / Responsibilities :
- Meet with and provide consultation services for our clients in order to facilitate design and decision making
- Provide expert feedback and insight to our clients to help them design their spaces
- Use your knowledge of Kitchen design fundamentals to develop layouts including appliances, plumbing, electrical and ventilation
- Use your knowledge of Kitchen design aesthetics to assist clients with cabinet styles, hardware, countertops, back splashes, appliances, plumbing fixtures, flooring, and colors.
- Collaborate with the design team to provide a full scope of services to our clients
- Create 2D drawings and 3D renderings
- The ability to see a project from design conception to completion is necessary
Obtain client approvals and manage the deposit and invoicing for kitchen installations
