We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Los Angeles CA area.
CENTRAL TO EAST LOS ANGELES, BOYLE HEIGHTS, PICO RIVERA, MONTEBELLO, El MONTE, MONTEREY PARK, ALHAMBRA, SAN GABRIEL VALLEY ,WEST COVINA, LA PUENTE, GLENDORA.--
PAY STARTS AT $40 PER VISIT DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
SPANISH / MANDARIN / CANTONESE/ VIETNAMESE SPEAKER HIGHLY PREFFERED

Requirements:
Must have a valid & up-to-date license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
Must have a valid & up-to-date license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Availability of at least two days per week. Schedule visits at your convenience!
- Must have 1 year minimum of experience in a healthcare setting with direct patient care
- Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, auto insurance
- Must have good reporting and documenting (charting) practices. Preferred experience with our electronic medical record (EMR) system: DSL (Datasoft Logic) or Synergy EMR but not a deal-breaker.
- Must have & maintain current CPR/BLS certification
- Able to perform basic wound care, blood draw, and catheter care (OR willingness to learn these skills)
- Strong preference for nurses with HOME HEALTH experience

Responsibilities:
Provide health care services in patients residence:
Provide health care services in patients residence:
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- G-tube care and feeding, Tracheostomy, & Ventilator management and monitoring
- Wound Care & dressing changes
- BS Monitoring
- Foley Catheters
- Assist with activities of daily living for patients
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health management
