Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Baton Rouge, LA for the role of Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, assisting with medical procedures, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the operations of the medical office. Responsibilities also include utilizing medical terminology effectively and ensuring that patients receive high-quality assistance and a positive experience during their visits.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Medical Assisting and providing hands-on patient care
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with a medical office environment
- Experience with maintaining and managing Medical Records
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care facilities is a plus
