What You Will Do:
Assist the physician in coordinating care appropriate to the needs of patients across the age populations served, under the direction and supervision of the physician, clinic RN, and/or clinic manager.
Perform basic patient assessments, including collecting height, weight, vital signs, medical history, and other clinical information necessary for treatment. Identify and communicate emergent patient concerns to the physician in a timely manner. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Perform independent treatments within scope and physician orders while adhering to clinic protocols. Conduct phlebotomy procedures using proper techniques and maintain compliance with organizational policies. Answer and appropriately respond to patient care-related phone calls, collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate follow-up and care coordination. Document patient interactions, physician instructions, and clinical actions accurately within the medical record. Assist with clinic charge entry and maintain accurate patient clinical records. Support daily clinic operations and perform additional duties as assigned. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, safety standards, infection prevention practices, and organizational policies. Demonstrate exceptional customer service, teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to quality patient care.
