Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Float Xray Technologist located in Fair Lawn & Clifton, NJ. The Xray Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment while adhering to radiation safety practices. Responsibilities include positioning patients for radiographs/OR procedures, operating imaging systems, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure accuracy and quality in diagnostics.
Qualifications
- Must hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must hold a valid NJ State License
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and ability to implement them effectively
- Proficiency in operating Radiologic Technology and performing imaging procedures
- Understanding of Radiology and the application of medical imaging in diagnosing conditions
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and patient-focused communication
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Prior experience in an orthopedic or healthcare environment is a plus
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
