What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Garden State Medical Center?
Garden State Medical Center is a multi-specialty group with 7 locations in Ocean County and surrounding areas. We are looking to add a NP or PA to our busy pain medicine department ASAP.
We are seeking an experienced, flexible, full-time, well-motivated individual who is interested in interventional pain management. This individual must be dedicated to providing quality care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain.
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or all of the following: pain management care, psychiatry
Candidate will provide patient assessments, diagnose health status, interpretation of diagnostic procedures, development and implementation of patient treatment plans for individuals with health problems that are acute self-limited or chronic and stable, patient education, follow-up care, and patient medication management.
About the Position
- This is a clinic-based position, with a traditional week day schedule of 8:00 - 5:00, Monday through Friday.
- Candidate will also be providing care in area nursing homes 1 day per week.
- No call, no weekends
- Paperless office equipped with EMR system
Qualifications
- Licensed as Nurse Practitioner/PA-C in the State of New Jersey
- Desire to work in Pain Management
- Ideal candidate will have experience in an outpatient setting
- Computer literate with ability to learn EMR system
