Garden State AGNC Inc. is hiring motivated individuals to join our team as Retail Trainees. This full-time, entry-level position is based in Piscataway, NJ and offers hands-on training in customer engagement, sales, and retail operations.
As a Retail Trainee, you’ll work directly with customers in retail locations, represent client brands, and learn how to create positive customer experiences while supporting sales goals. No prior experience is required — paid training and mentorship are provided.

What You’ll Do:
- Represent nationally recognized brands during in-store promotional events
- Connect with customers, answer questions, and recommend products
- Help execute event-style marketing campaigns alongside an experienced team
- Participate in ongoing sales, communication, and leadership training
- Deliver personalized customer experiences that build positive relationships, increase brand awareness, and encourage long-term customer loyalty
- Track basic customer interactions and sales activity
- Participate in ongoing training sessions focused on sales and face-to-face marketing techniques
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or retail preferred (but not required)
- Positive, coachable, and goal-oriented with strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
