Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Plow Drivers to join our landscaping and maintenance team. This role involves operating snow plows and other landscaping equipment to ensure safe and efficient snow removal and landscape maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, lawn care, and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work in various weather conditions. Responsibilities
- Operate snow plows and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently during winter seasons.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plow trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with lawn care, mowing, tree trimming, irrigation, gardening, and landscape maintenance as needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment for landscape projects including hardscape installation.
- Support construction or horticultural projects requiring specialized machinery or manual labor.
- Maintain safety standards at all times while working around construction sites, landscaped areas, or during snow removal operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and uphold quality standards.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment.
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, snow plowing, tree care, gardening, or horticulture.
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping machinery such as skid steers or loaders.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general construction practices is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks.
- Strong attention to safety protocols when operating heavy machinery or working around construction zones.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
