Logistics/Labeling Specialist
Job Description
The Labeling/Logistics Specialist is responsible for creating accurate and compliant labels for all packaging and internal/wholesale products, as well as coordinating product deliveries to Garden Remedies retail stores and Garden Remedies wholesale customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and printing accurate labels for the Packaging department utilizing CoLOS, or future software programs
Utilizes METRC and Dutchie for cross-referencing relevant certificates of analysis for all label creation
Maintains accurate inventory of all necessary labels and equipment
Create and maintain repository of data and files related to labeling, particularly in the event of an audit by the Cannabis Control Commission (CCC)
Reviews and analyzes CoA’s to ensure correct cannabinoid and terpene profile is presented
Takes data from CoA’s and mathematically formulates information for label creation
Responsible for coordinating with other departments to update labeling with revised formulations for servings, dosing, and other short-notice logistical changes as necessary
Effectively tracks label inventories between departments and ensures packaging quotas are met
Performs duties professionally with integrity, respect, and honesty
Coordinates and creates manifests for all outbound orders
Sends complete and accurate delivery documentation to GRI retail and wholesale partners
Assist with all inbound/outbound orders
Saves all relevant documentation to N Drive
Performs other projects/tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Proven adaptability to short-notice, rapid changes in logistical projections
General knowledge of manufacturing & production processes especially within the Massachusetts Cannabis Industry
Understanding of data conversion and interpretation from CoA’s to finished labels
Has knowledge of or willing to learn Massachusetts cannabis regulations
Ability to work a flexible work schedule
REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 21 years of age
HS Diploma required; Associates’s degree or relative experience preferred
Must be detail-oriented
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and Operating Systems
Possesses a strong ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing to help communicate requirements
Project management and time management skills are required to execute label production job, track inventory and coordinate ordering of label stock
Experience in a complex, fast-paced, highly regulated environment
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in email communication
Ability to pass all required background checks to work in the Massachusetts Cannabis Industry
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
