Outdoor Living Construction Landscaping & Hardscaping

We are looking to hire someone with great job time and recent outdoor work experience. You must be able to work hard and keep up with the pace. As a Pond Tech I, you will be required to learn all aspects of pond and waterfall building and eventually be able to work independently without minute to minute supervision as you graduate up to Pond Tech II, Pond Tech III and IV. What you will be doing:

You will work with our water feature and landscaping crews on active jobsites.

Assist with building koi ponds, waterfalls and swim ponds.

Assist with pond cleanings & pond maintenance.

Assist with patios, retaining walls, stonework, grading and prep work.

Learn how to integrate hardscape, landscape, lighting and water into a finished space.

This is a very unique job that is rewarding and offers a different setting every week. We start at 6:30 am each day so you’ll need to be an early riser. Qualified applicants should have excellent job time! No pond experience required but we do require recent outdoor labor experience. See the exact requirements below. This is a hands on job that will require you to build hardscapes, outdoor living areas, ponds & waterfalls, swim ponds and install landscaping. Time management and problem solving skills are paramount in this position. Our construction crew literally creates beautiful waterfalls and koi ponds from scratch. It gives a great sense of accomplishment every day. Applicants must be able to lift 100 lbs repetitively, dig and stoop. You must have a clean background and be drug free. This is a year round position offered as full time. We offer health insurance, paid vacation & holiday pay for a full time positions.

Minimum of 2 years consecutive employment with the same employer

Some recent job history that involved a labor intensive position

Recent job outdoors in various weather conditions

Ability to pull and back a trailer using mirrors

Experience driving large vehicles (cab over dump truck) cdl not required

Experience installing hardscapes

Some experience with project management

Common sense and problem solving skills

Verifiable employment history

Able to lift 100 lbs consistently

Able to bend and stoop

Valid Driver License

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
