Join Our Team as a Line Cook at Balanced Rock Café!

Are you passionate about cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences? Balanced Rock Café is looking for dedicated and skilled line cooks to join our team! As a line cook, you'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, preparing high-quality menu items and ensuring every dish is crafted to perfection. If you thrive in a team setting and take pride in delivering outstanding food, we want you on our team!

This is a seasonal position with an anticipated end date of November 30, 2026. While the role is currently intended to be seasonal, there may be an opportunity for it to transition into a year-round position based on business needs.

Compensation: $15.16-18.50 an hour, plus tips

Expected Starting Salary: Typically between $16.00-17.50 plus tips, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items efficiently and collaboratively with the team, ensuring the highest quality standards for taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Provide exceptional guest service at Balanced Rock Café by warmly greeting guests, ensuring their satisfaction, and showcasing in-depth product knowledge.
  • Adhere to established cleaning protocols to maintain a spotless and hygienic work environment.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure the health and safety of both guests and staff.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance of the café, ensuring it is always guest-ready.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the café’s overall operational objectives and team goals.

  • Bilingual Spanish, is a plus

Notes: This position is eligible for cross-training across all lateral roles within customer service, including but not limited to positions in the coffee area, boutique, and other store locations. Cross-training will occur on an as-needed basis, depending on staffing changes and business needs. It does not include compensation adjustments, as all roles are equivalent in responsibility and scope.

While we strive to provide as many hours as possible, the company cannot guarantee a specific number of hours each week. Employees should be prepared for fluctuations in scheduling throughout the season.
