Gallery Sales Associate

Join our team at Garden of the Gods Trading Post, home to Southern Colorado’s premier Southwestern art gallery. We showcase an incredible collection of handmade Native American jewelry, Navajo rugs, Pueblo pottery, Zuni fetishes, sand paintings, and local artwork across several unique gallery locations.

As a Gallery Associate, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and help maintain a welcoming, well-curated environment. This position offers the opportunity to work at any of our gallery locations as needed, with hourly pay ranging from $14.81–$18.50 plus commission incentives, room for growth, and a supportive team in a stunning, culturally rich setting.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to understand their preferences and assist them in finding the perfect pieces.
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of jewelry and displays by regularly cleaning and polishing them.
• Maintain inventory levels by restocking items as needed to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing display.
• Provide detailed information about specific pieces to customers, including the materials, craftsmanship, and cultural significance.
• Follow established security protocols to safeguard valuable merchandise and maintain a secure environment for both customers and staff.
• Fulfill any additional duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the gallery and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

Notes: This position is eligible for cross-training across all lateral roles within customer service, including but not limited to positions in the boutique and other store locations. Cross-training will occur on an as-needed basis, depending on staffing changes and business needs.
