Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in 1575 E 19th St, Brooklyn, NY 11230 for a Mammography Technologist. The Mammography Technologist will conduct mammograms, ensure image quality, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals. Daily tasks include preparing patients for procedures, operating mammography equipment, and maintaining accurate records. Attention to detail and patient care are paramount for this role.
Qualifications
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiology practices
- Background in Medicine and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
