Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during the overnight shift
- Ensure high-quality resident care in accordance with care plans and facility policies
- Respond to changes in resident condition and coordinate appropriate interventions
- Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and problem-solving for overnight staff
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with NYS DOH regulations
- Communicate effectively with management regarding overnight operations and issues
- Maintain a calm, organized, and professional environment during overnight hours
- Current New York State RN license (required)
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently overnight
