Garden Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night shift team. This is a full-time overnight position, with a schedule that includes every other weekend.
Position Details
- Shift: Night shift
- Status: Full-time
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the RN or supervisor
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Accurately document care and maintain medical records
- Ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the night
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
- Current New York State LPN license
- Nursing home / long-term care experience required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently overnight
