What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Specialist position at Gardant?
Responsibilities:
- Provides onsite day-to-day support in absence of an Executive Director
- Establishes the Community’s goals and objectives
- Implementing organizational, financial, marketing plans, policies and procedures
- Evaluates the Community’s adherence to all applicable regulations and approved operating procedures
- Reviews Community’s liability, property, and compensation insurance coverage and provides recommendations to ownership
- Acts as an on-call resource to the Communities and Gardant on a 24-hour basis to address urgent matters
- Reviews and monitors account receivable activities at each Community to ensure collection and billing process/policies are adhered to
- Conducts formal performance evaluations at the end of the introductory period and on an annual basis
- Supports in the planning and provision of informational in-services and other staff development activities
- Participates in department manager interviews and the hiring process
- Monitors Community’s Quality Improvement and safety programs
- Evaluates overall operations including, but not limited to, ensuring compliance with daily standup meetings, call light review, QAPI program, rent readiness, finance & revenue accounting and TELS compliance
- Assists Senior - RDO with conducting Operations Training for new Executive Directors and Business Office Managers as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 5 years healthcare experience required with multi-site management experience required
- Must have current Indiana RCA or HFA licensure.
- Thorough knowledge of state, federal and local regulations
- Extensive travel and overnight stays, valid driver's license required

Salary : $95,000 - $98,000
