Labor & Employment Attorney

A well-established national law firm with a strong focus on labor and employment law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Tampa, Florida office. This opportunity is also open to strong general litigators—prior labor and employment experience is preferred but not required.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of litigation experience, with exposure to drafting pleadings, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in motion practice and hearings. Candidates with a solid litigation foundation and an interest in expanding into labor and employment law will be well-positioned for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced attorneys on a wide range of matters, including workplace disputes, employment-related claims, and complex litigation.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship.
- Engage in meaningful client interaction.
Qualifications
- Approximately three to four years of litigation experience.
- Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar
- Exposure to drafting pleadings.
- Handling discovery.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Participating in motion practice and hearings.
Preferred Skills
- Prior labor and employment experience.
- Strong general litigation skills.
